Spring

Spring is finally here! Well somewhat. It's still a little chilly out but I'm on Spring Break so I'm calling it spring. This is my idea of a casual outfit...six inch heels and all! I was destined to live in LA or NYC, I'm certainly in LA in my mind right now!

Pop of Red

I haven't worn these shoes like all year and I'm not sure why. I have this unexplainable love/hate relationship with them. I think it may be because the heel is under 4 inches...but I thought they'd look cute with this ensemble. I always lean towards monochromatic colors, it's the Rachel Zoe in me, but I thought I'd add a pop of red today in the form of this adorable skirt. I do really adore this skirt I just wish it were a tad shorter. But hey not every piece of clothing is perfect.

Annie Wilson/Shenae Grimes love affair

Annie Wilson/Shenae Grimes

Ok literally I'm obsessed with this girl's style. Even her character on her tv show dresses amazingly. She's constantly effortlessly chic and I just am memorized. She makes me wish I was more boho. She literally takes my breath away.
This romper on the far left...ok who doesn't want this?! Like come on it's AMAZING. And that peplum dress? On trend and perfect with the studs on the sleeves to add some edge. The beach outfit? Casual cool. The absolute epitone of it. And the belted casual dress is just so simple and beautiful. I love them all.

I'm having a love affair with this sheer blouse. And those shoes. TO. DIE. FOR. I just cannot stop staring at this outfit. Absolutely genius and gorgeous. Maj. I just...I can't even begin to explain my love for it.

I want this leather dress in my closet like now. And this clutch. Another love affair.

Monday

This is what I wore today, I've really been into the color blue lately and I don't know why. Oh well. I wanted to be casual since it is a Monday after all so I just wore sandals with it.

Weekend

I'm in love with my new JustFab wedges! They're like six inches and I just die every time I see they are my current love, screw boys! These are definitely maj.

This was my Saturday outfit because it was actually warm here.

Edgy Kind Of Preppy

As you can see I've been loving these boots. And come on who doesn't love a good pair of fishnet floral tights?? I'm definitely a fan of them. Prep with a twist. They remind me of something Jenny Humphrey would wear. But she wouldn't be caught dead in this button up. That's for sure.

Classy

I went for the casual yet classy look here. Definitely a huge fan of blazers if y'all couldn't tell. They turn a simple tee and jeans into a classy outfit in a second.

Long Time No Post

It's been awhile since I last posted..sorry life has been hectic. But I wore this like a week or so ago. And actually when I got to school a teacher made me change into jeans...apparently my shorts were too short. Sometimes I wonder about the administration at my school.

Cool Factor

I almost never wear this skirt and I'm not really sure why. It's probably one of the most adorable things in my wadrobe. Normally I'd pair it with my black wedges but lately I've been really into the short skirt and flat boots look. I thought the jean jacket added a cool factor as well. Not as tough as a leather jacket but not as girly as like a blazer or a sweater. I left my hair natural with all my crazy curls for this look as well. Gave it a careless factor. And of course gold jewelry, I tend to gravitate towards gold more than silver.

Selena Gomez Inspired

Outfit Inspiration

Selena Gomez is the epitone of casual chic. I LOVE her style. She pulls it off with confidence and it's not too out there or uptight like some celebrities. It's like she could pick clothes up off the floor of her room and work them and make it a new emerging trend. Speaking of trends, one trend I absolutely adore is the over sized sweater with thigh high socks. I think it just looks so casual yet chic.

Comfy

This was more of my relaxed look for the week, as you can see even my room has gotten a little out of hand so I decided to just relax and my outfit reflects that. Nothing is more calming than a comfy sweater and skinny jeans in my mind.

The Stolen Skirt

This skirt I actually stole from my sisters closet....shhh don't tell her(: She bought it when she went shopping for her birthday last month and I couldn't help but borrow it. It's adorable! It was a bit on the chilly side so I wore black tights, added a blank tank and belt, and a black jacket. I was a little into black lol. But the colors in the skirt kind of balance it out. I had to pair it with my wedges of course it made it look very polished in my opinion. I added a bit of jewelry but not an accessive amount.

Dress For Success

This skirt is definitely one of the best finds in my closet. I love peplum, at first I didn't but now I'm addicted. And I paired it with a blue striped button up and flats for a casual preppy look. Much like Spencer Hastings. Straight hair and minimal jewelry for this look as well.
I always love dressing preppy on test days, something about dressing for success just sticks with me. So when I dress like this I have the mentality I'll ace a test...it rarely happens.

Diversity

I wore this the other day. It's dressy while also being comfortable which is my forte. I love how light this blouse is, it's like wearing air. And you can pair it with anything like jeans or a skirt or shorts, literally anything.

Maxi Skirt

I wore this outfit Tuesday when it was a bit warmer than the other days. I borrowed this skirt from my friend Savannah and paired it with this gray crop top that I made myself (proud of my DIY) and then for when it was chilly in the morning I threw on my black leather jacket.
For jewelry I added gold accessories because I thought it look cute with the teal maxi skirt.
My latest obsession actually has been maxi skirts, well maxi skirts and skulls. I like the carefree vibe that maxi skirts have though, it gives an outfit a very California like vibe.

I paired it with these sandals for a boho vibe.

The Story Behind The Shirt

My room has slowly gotten messier....
So with this top comes a story. I have not had this shirt since May last year. But I bought it two years ago. How you may ask. Well I will tell you. I so graciously lent this shirt out to a girl in my English class last year, who at the time was dating my best friend. I mean who am I to complain she obviously likes my clothes hence why she asked to borrow the top right? Well when I lend things out I normally expect them back within a week to two weeks. She didn't get this memo. In fact she kept this top. All summer. All fall. Can you just imagine how many outfit oppurtunities I missed because she had this top?! Tragic. Well I finally got this top back...yesterday. And I was so excited to wear it! But it's safe to say I'm a little cautious when lending out clothes now.
So I paired this wonderful missing top with a white scarf, gray leather jacket, jeans, and my gray booties. Now, I'm embarrassed to admit it but, I forgot that I had these shoes for awhile. But it's not my fault! They were hiding under my bed. So technically it's their fault. That's right I'm blaming the shoes, inanimate objects.

Sister's Keeper

Ok I have a confession to make...I did not come up with this outfit. My sister did. I mean she paired with a pair of flat black booties and these are my jeans and she didn't have the cute accesories but technically it was her idea. So I have to give her props. But I thought I'd add my own personal pizazz to it and pair it with my black wedges. And had to add the sparkly accesories to I wore a gold jeweled necklace.
See my room in the background? Yeah I need to clean it. Have I? ....nope.

New Finds

I almost never wear this top. Or these shoes. And I'm not quite sure why because both are adorable. So when I found them in the back of my slowly getting messier closet it was like I just bought two new items...FOR FREE. For those of you who don't know what this feeling is like, it's better than chocolate and love. So then I decided to pair this adorable top and these shoes with dark jeans, a navy blue blazer, and a white tank underneath because the top is cropped and I'm pretty sure that violates school dress code.

For jewelry I added a gold chain bracelet, a pink and gold layered necklace, and...
this new ring that I got that I'm COMPLETELY obsessed with. I'm obsessed with skulls in general but this ring literally blows my mind. I'm in love with it. I'll have to break the news to my boyfriend that I'm having an affair....with this ring.
